No Doggy Ears, Please! VSN Challenge

This challenge is to make a bookmark. With Halloween coming up I have been reading a disney spooky stories book to my son. The book has around 20 stories in it so this bookmark is perfect to keeping our place.

I used Momento ink in Paris Dusk and Tuxedo Black for the background. The bats are from Recollections Halloween set, the Trick or Treat is from Inkadinkado Trick or Treat set and the Pumpkin  is called Spooky Jack-o-lantern from Hampton Art.

My son really loves using this bookmark. I think I'll make one for his Christmas stories book too.

Thanks for stopping by!

Let's Get Physical VSN Challenge

For this challenge you just needed to have some form of exercise or activity on your project.  I know a little boy who plays soccer so I made this card with him in mind either for a birthday or a nice way to go card. This soccer playing monkey is from Doodle Dragon Studios and is colored with Prismacolor pencils.

Two down today...let's how far I can get!!

3 R's VSN Challenge

I haven't given up on getting my Virtual Stamp Night cards posted! For the 3 R's challenge you just needed to use 3 things that begin with the letter R.

I have the color Red, a Reaper, a Rectangle and the gravestone says R.I.P on it. The Reaper is from Doodle Dragon Studios. I colored it with Prismacolor pencils and blended with baby oil. I also used a silver glitter gel pen on his scythe. The bats and graves are from a Recollections Halloween stamp set.

The Wheels Go Round VSN Challenge

This card was made for the The Wheels Go Round challenge at the Back to School VSN over at Splitcoaststampers. The challenge was to create a card that had wheels on it.

I did the background myself using Tea Dye Distress Ink  on the edges. The leaf stamp is from the Stampabilities 'Fall Holidays' stamp set. I stamped them with Distress ink in Antique Linen, Tea Dye and Vintage Photo. The image is from Doodle Dragon Studios. I colored it with Prismacolor pencils and blended them with baby oil. I used Antique Linen and Tea Dye Distress Inks around the image. I also used Silver glitter gel pen for the handle. The sentiment is from Inkadinkado 'Harvest Expressions' stamp set.

Thanks for stoping by!!

Some Late Valentine's

Time is flying by!! Can't believe it's been a month since my last post. I've been busy with everyone getting colds. The last few weeks I've been doing some sketching. It's been years since I've done it and it feels good to get back to it.

Here are some valentines I made. They made it on time...I'm just really late posting! All the images are from Doodle Dragon Studios and colored with Prismacolor pencils. The paper is from The Paper Studio All Season's II paper pack. I used the sketch from i{heart}2stamp.
